MENTORING PROGRAMS
In world riddle with so much confussion all children and adults need a caring network in their lives, and mentoring is one way to fill this need for children and their families. The special bond of commitment fostered by the mutual respect inherent in effective mentoring can be the tie that strengthen a youth and their family so they remain together as a unit to have a better future.

NORMAL Inc. Mentoring programs address several areas and aspects of the family with these programs;

Soldiers Youth Mentoring Program
This programs address the elementary aged students in a school setting. Students in need of mentoring are paired with a soldier who is a member of the mentoring program and approoved by the school liason as a mentor. The soldier will visit the student or students once a week to mentor the students designated b the school.

A Mentoring Soldier is a mentor who guides others toward a common goal, showing the way by example, and creating an environment in which others like students and their family, school members feel actively involved in the entire process. A Mentoring Soldier is not the boss, but they are the person that is committed to carrying out the mission and vision of the mentoring program!

Fathers Inc:
Is designed to provide fathers with alternative methods of dealing with parenting issues in an effort to enhance their role in the family and help to improve the functioning of the family as a whole. Through the process of education, participation and community involvement, men are given the opportunity to consider what they can do to enrich their relationships with their children and the tools to make those changes.

FIshing Derbies For Happiness
The thought of not having time to take your child hiking or fishing is not good, but it is reality in todays society, but Richard E. McCleary and the Robert B. Suddith Charity Foundation teamed up to provide a setting and Mentors who are advid fisher men and women to mentor youth and adults in fishing. This program encourages the family to spend more time together to strengthen the family and become stewards of nature as well.

Financial Individual Responsible Spending Training:
Is designed to provide fathers with alternative methods of dealing with parenting issues in an effort to enhance their role in the family and help to improve the functioning of the family as a whole. Through the process of education, participation and community involvement, men are given the opportunity to consider what they can do to enrich their relationships with their children and the tools to make those changes.
